Most Outstanding Club Event
Recognizes club with most creative, non-traditional event and/or fundraiser in the last year. The committee is looking for a new twist in a traditional event; a new, exciting event; and event that includes a diverse group of alumni; etc.

Award is recognition in Auburn Magazine and AUsome door prizes/give aways*

Winner:Bluegrass Auburn Club- Paint Your Own Pottery Event

•Two years in a row!
•Painted patterns with icons like Aubie and AU logo
•Pieces that were made have also helped to serve food at club functions
•Collaborative piece was auctioned off at the annual speaking meeting

Most Outstanding Club Leader Recognizes club leader who has done an outstanding job as nominated by club (one nomination per club) Award is (2) tickets to home SEC football game* Winner:Holly Holman, Lee Co Auburn Club, Young Alumni Chair •Started a young Alumni group •Planned kick-off event for local Young Alumni group •Planned bi-monthly happy hours at various locations in Auburn •Planned a Christmas party as a community service event for the Potter-Daniels Boys & Girls Club in Opelika •Did spots on local radio to promote the YA group, Lee Co Auburn Club and upcoming events
Membership Challenge Recognizes club with the highest percentage of club members who are current members of the Auburn Alumni Association. Award is an ALUM tablecloth for use at club events for sign-in and membership tables* Winner: West Georgia Auburn Club with 80% of its club members as members of the Auburn Alumni Association
Community Service Recognizes club that best represents Auburn University and the Auburn Alumni Association in its community. Award is a custom banner for clubs to use at club events* Winner:Greater Birmingham Auburn Club- Aubie Clause & Angel Tree •Teamed up with Shelby Baptist Association to provide Christmas gifts for 41 children, ages 6 weeks to 16 years old •Contributed $7,000 in cash and gifts for the project •More than 246 gifts of clothing and toys were given •In addition to these gifts, packages were given to the parents of the children to benefit them as well
Communication Recognizes club that best communicates with its club members, Auburn Alumni Association and community. Communication includes but is not limited to direct mail, e-mail, telephone, newsletter, and website. Please include sample communication pieces. Award is additional postcard mailing or mailing to ALL area alumni* Winner:Atlanta Auburn Club
Outstanding Scholarship Program Recognizes club that has excelled in all areas of a successful scholarship program including fund raising, promotion efforts in raising money, and recognition of scholarship recipients. Award is AUsome autographed memorabilia to be auctioned at club event* Winner:Atlanta Auburn Club

Rookie of the Year Recognizes a club's first-year scholarship fund effort. Award is a fundraising starter kit (includes raffle tickets, lock box, etc.)* Winner:West Georgia Auburn Club
