Tommie Agee was a National Football League fullback for the Dallas Cowboys. Agee played college football at Auburn University, and was drafted by Seattle in the 5th round of the 1987 NFL Draft (the same year as fellow Auburn running backs Brent Fullwood, Bo Jackson, and Tim Jessie). Jackson gives credit for much of his college success to Agee, a great runner and blocker, that went on to play for seven years in the NFL for Seattle, the Chiefs, and in 2 Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys being used as a back up for Daryl Johnston who primarily did the blocking for Emmitt Smith.

AgeeAgee now runs the Covington Recreation Center in Opelika and focuses on bettering children’s lives. He started in 1997 after he sent a letter containing his resume to the juvenile court judge in Lee County, who promptly wrote him back describing a job opening that suited Agee. While being a community service coordinator suited him after eight months he moved on to be the coordinator of Covington Recreation Center. Agee’s goal is to keep the children on the right path.
