Auburn TraditionsAuburn University is not just an institution that is dedicated to the academic success of its students, but it also prides itself on tradition. We, the Auburn faithful, are proud to have called this, our alma mater, our home. Because of these traditions and the beloved spirit they bring to our students, staff, and faculty, we are honored to say that the traditions of Auburn University have captured our hearts and our minds. To date, the oldest tradition that our research has discovered dates back to the late 1800’s when people first witnessed an eagle flying around the football stadium. Now, on our website, you will find that the Auburn Alumni Association has compiled a list of the most cherished Auburn traditions. If you know of any traditions that we have not listed, or if you have any of your own that you are willing to share, please contact us and we will be sure to add them! Thank you and War Eagle!
