Travel with us on the journey of a lifetime into the wilds of Tanzania, Africa’s premier safari destination where, in one of Earth’s greatest natural spectacles, vast herds of elephant, wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and Cape buffalo roam the savannas, followed by magnificent lion, cheetah and leopard. At Ngorongoro Crater, observe the largest concentration of mammals in the world and step back into the dawn of time at Olduvai Gorge, birthplace of the human race. During the program, enjoy accommodations in the region’s finest lodges, learn about Tanzania’s wildlife from our expert naturalist-guide and meet indigenous Masai tribesmen and local schoolchildren.

ZANZIBAR POST-PROGRAM OPTION

Join the special five-night extension to the spice island of Zanzibar, a crossroads of civilizations and ancient gateway to East Africa and the Indian Ocean. Wander through the lush jungles of the Jozani Forest, visit the 19th-century Persian Baths and stroll through the centuries-old bazaars of Stone Town. Accommodations will be in the historic Zanzibar Serena Inn, located on the waterfront in the heart of Stone Town.
